Our Plant Container Design team is ready to help you create beautiful container gardens that can add a touch of elegance to any outdoor space. The Refuge, our garden center, is a nature destination center where people come to gather, explore, learn, create, and shop.

Our Story

Our story began in 2009 when two homegrown Nebraska boys, Mark Charipar and Kasey Olson, met while studying horticulture at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. They shared a passion for the outdoors, their community, hard work, and playing in the dirt. After joining forces, they pursued their dream of building outdoor living spaces you would never want to leave. That passion has blossomed into a multi-faceted nursery & garden center situated in the picturesque countryside that is unlike anything else in the Lincoln area.
