Welcome to our business, a renowned design and construction firm based in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Established in 1981 by Richard Baronio, we have built a reputation for delivering high-quality residential design and construction projects. Our services cover all aspects of renovation, from initial designs and drawings to final construction, including administrative tasks such as Landmarks' approvals and city building permits.

Richard Baronio, with a background in project management, started by designing and installing built-in cabinets. He quickly expanded the business to include full residential design and construction. Our team, many of whom were trained in the visual arts, has consistently delivered quality and attention to detail, earning us a loyal clientele for over three decades.

Our projects vary in scale and complexity, from simple installations of custom cabinetry and millwork to comprehensive renovations involving all aspects of construction. We pride ourselves on our quality of finish, superior service, and specialty craftsmanship. Our work has been featured in numerous publications, including This Old House, Elle Decor, the New York Times, and the book The New American Apartment - Innovations in Residential Design and Construction.

Services

Cabinetry: We specialize in built-in cabinets, which are particularly suitable for New York homes where storage and spaciousness are at a premium. Our custom-made cabinets, primarily made of painted birch plywood, can also be crafted from hardwood such as Walnut, Oak, Maple, Cherry, and Mahogany, or more exotic woods, upon request.

Kitchens: Given the frequent incorporation of kitchens into living spaces in New York apartments, we create visually sophisticated kitchens that are both functional and stylish. We use stone or stainless steel countertops, hardwood cabinetry, and subtle lighting to ensure our kitchens meet the highest standards of design and functionality.

Bathrooms: We understand the unique challenges of designing bathrooms in New York apartments. Our designs prioritize intimacy and personalization while ensuring functionality and water tightness. We use the best quality fixtures, hardware, and shower doors, and often craft our own medicine cabinets and vanities.
