Roots Tree Service was born as a call to action from the devastating snowstorm in October of 1997. Since that time, Jason has made it his mission to provide professional, efficient, and reliable services to the Omaha and surrounding areas. Our company is licensed arborist through NAA (Nebraska Arborist Association), 1st Class Licensed Arborist through the City of Omaha, and a Licensed Pesticide Applicator through the Nebraska Department of Agriculture. We look forward to helping your trees thrive, protecting your property for hazardous trees, and helping you make the right decisions regarding your trees and landscapes for the health and benefit of us all here on earth - sharing the oxygen that our trees give to us.

Pruning

Trees need to be trimmed for many reasons, depending on their age and location. By trimming your trees, it makes them healthier, safer, and look better. Our pruning services include removing dead or dying branches, removing crossing or rubbing branches, elevating the crown of the tree to make room for mowing, or for better vision around the tree, thinning the crown, removing storm damage, reducing the weight of a limb by removing the tip or sections of the limb, reducing suckers, and more.

Plant Health

We offer deep root fertilization, insect and disease control, and nutrient deficiency treatments for trees and shrubs. We can give you advice on tree selection and landscaping, so you will not have to remove a tree or shrub because it was planted in the wrong location. Removals

Preservation is our primary focus, but sometimes trees have to be removed from the landscape. Removing a tree is one of the most hazardous aspects of arboriculture and needs to be performed by a trained, experienced, and qualified arborist. We understand the importance of tree preservation and will only recommend removal if it is absolutely necessary.

Risk Assessment

Tree risk assessments can identify potential issues before they become major problems. Preventive measures can be taken to prevent hazardous situations from occurring. Stump Removal

In order to plant something new in the same spot, the stump needs to be removed. We can grind the stump down to a few inches below ground level, allowing you to plant new trees or plants in the same area.
