Poor Quality of Service
The majority of the reviewers had a poor experience with Desert Gardens, citing a decline in service quality over time. Charles Steadham initially had a positive experience with the company's tree trimming and lawn care services, but the quality of work gradually decreased. Ila Houlis also had a similar experience, initially finding the company's headline maintenance satisfactory but noting a significant decline in quality over the past year. The company failed to meet her expectations, leaving her yard in a state that did not comply with HOA guidelines.
Inconsistent Communication
The company's communication with customers also came under fire. Ila Houlis felt that the owner showed a lack of urgency in addressing her unsatisfactory level of service, and the owner's response was unsatisfactory, stating that the work would "look terrible" if done. This lack of professionalism and responsiveness led Ila to terminate her contract with the company.
