Our History

Our story begins in the early 1990s, when our founder, Mike Wichert, was just 11 years old. Mike started learning the trade of hardwood flooring from a neighbor and quickly fell in love with the work. As a teenager, he began working full-time on hardwood flooring projects with his neighbor's company, learning all aspects of the trade from residential to commercial projects. In 1994, Mike decided to take the next step and launched his own business, Wicks Wood Floors, Inc.
