Desert Elements Landscape Design, LLC is a landscape design firm dedicated to the principles behind sound landscape and environmental design. Our mission is to provide innovative, aesthetic landscapes while effecting positive change on the urban environment. With a team of experienced horticulturists, designers, and licensed irrigators, we offer a wide range of services including site planning, hardscape and surface design, landscape and irrigation design, computer visualization, estimating, and construction observation.
Our team has designed hundreds of commercial landscapes in the city of El Paso, TX, and we are accustomed to coordinating client needs with local ordinances to create noteworthy landscapes while meeting project budgets. Our long-term goals include increasing the plant palette for El Paso, introducing better landscape design on a city-wide basis, and promoting urban biodiversity. We also aim to promote responsible development of land, including the use of permeable surfacing, on-site water retention, and Xeriscape practices.
Our principal, Jennifer Barr Ardovino, has eleven years of experience in the fields of horticulture and landscape design. She holds a bachelor's degree in horticulture with an emphasis on landscape design and has acted as principle designer on numerous campuses in the Chihuahuan desert Southwest. Our team also includes Carlos Holguin, a Texas licensed irrigator with five years of experience in landscape and irrigation design, and Selene Armijo and Miguel Lopez, both with extensive experience in landscape and irrigation design.
