At P.A. Audio & Lighting, Inc., we are a family-owned and operated business based in Pennsylvania with over thirty years of expertise in the industry. Our heritage is rich with values, life lessons, and above all, family. We are passionate about providing audio, lighting, and design resources for live production, corporate events, and theatrical productions.

Our History

Our story began in the 1970s when a bass player named Larry discovered his passion for music and began to hone his craft. He started by providing audio gear for his own band and was soon asked to take on audio gigs for other events. This sparked his interest in the audio reinforcement field, and he dedicated countless hours in his garage designing his PA system. He engineered and fabricated his first sound system, drawing on his background in cabinet making and electronics. In the spring of 1987, Larry decided to turn his passion into a career, and P.A. Audio was born.

Over the years, the company has continued to evolve and grow both personally and professionally. In the early 1990s, Larry broke into the lighting market, realizing that he could offer a one-stop-shop to his clients. This brought a new dimension to the company, allowing us to provide a full package of audio and lighting equipment, as well as the talented crew to support it.

In the late 1990s, Nikki, Larry's oldest child, got her first taste of the business. She learned the ropes from her dad and developed a passion for lighting design. Nikki attended school for show production and returned home, ready to take the company to the next level. With new gear and tons of support, Larry and Nikki became P.A. Audio & Lighting, Inc.

In the 2000s, Larry's youngest son Justin, better known to everyone as "Beeps, " also became a driving force in the company. He embraced the ever-evolving digital technologies, whether it's online platforms, console programming, or audio networking. He's our go-to guy for anything digital and continues to push us in new directions.
