Our story began with Roger and Mary Jane Jensen, who founded Roger's Furniture in Escanaba, a warehouse concept that quickly evolved into a unique home-furnishing experience. By leveraging their moving business, Guindon Moving & Storage, they could offer unbeatable prices on quality products. As the business grew, so did their family's involvement. Scott Jensen joined in expanding Guindon Moving to a second location in Negaunee, while Kelly Jensen focused on developing a new direction for the furniture store.

In 2006, the Jensen Family proudly opened the first Ashley HomeStore in the UP, the 239th Ashley HomeStore in the US. This marked a significant milestone, as they could now offer the Upper Peninsula unparalleled access to modern furniture and accessories while remaining locally owned and operated. The partnership with Ashley Furniture, America's #1 furniture and mattress dealer, was crucial in achieving this goal.

Fast forward to today, and we're proud to operate two Ashley HomeStores in the UP, each offering a vast selection of furniture, accessories, and bedding from renowned brands like Ashley Furniture, Purple, Beautyrest, and Tempur-Pedic. Our Marquette location on Hwy 41 is a stunning two-story showroom, while our Escanaba store on N. Lincoln Road remains a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
