Our Story
Our journey began in 1952, when we started moving US military service members between Seattle and Alaska. As Alaska gained statehood in 1959, we expanded our services to include civilian customers, eventually affiliating with a large interstate van line to reach beyond Alaska and into the interstate moving market within the Lower 48 States. The addition of an international division in the 1980s made us a full-service moving company. Today, as a shareholder of UniGroup, parent company of United Van Lines, Mayflower Transit, and UniGroup Worldwide Moving, we represent the UniGroup brands from four locations, three in the Pacific Northwest and one in Alaska.
