Our History

Our journey began in 1950 when James Leland Roberts founded J.L. Roberts Plumbing and Heating, Inc. Initially, we focused on residential plumbing services. Over the years, we grew and expanded our focus to commercial and industrial plumbing. In May 2003, we acquired a commercial HVAC company and expanded our facilities to accommodate a new duct fabrication shop. In January 2004, these two companies merged to become J.L. Roberts Mechanical Contracting LLC.

Today, we are proud to be a leading commercial HVAC, plumbing, and piping mechanical contractor in Central Mississippi with over 150 employees and more than 3,000 successful projects under our belt.

Most recently, we were awarded the 2022 Gold Level Safety Award by Associated Builders and Contractors of Mississippi for our commitment to safety.
