Texas Traditions is a company steeped in heritage and tradition. For nearly a century, we've been dedicated to providing the best hardwood flooring options to our customers. Our story begins in the early 1930s when Dallas local Roy Gilette started trading wood out of his garage. After World War II, his son, John Harold, joined the family business and brought his disciplined Navy work ethic to the trade.

As the business grew, John Harold established Trinity Floor Company and became a founding father of the National Wood Flooring Association. He also founded the North Texas Flooring Association and was inducted into the Maple Hall of Fame and the Oak Hall of Fame. His son, Jon Roy, expanded the family trade by launching Trinity Hardwood Distributors, one of the leading sellers of wood flooring and installation products in the Southwest.

In 2006, Texas Traditions was born, offering the best selection of hardwood floors in the market. Our range of products includes over 50 natural hardwood colors and 20 waterproof vinyl colors, featuring our exclusive AquaStone Pro and Rigid Pro Ultra collections and moldings. Over 1,000 showrooms across Texas display our samples, allowing customers to choose from our extensive range of products.
