I contacted Chuck because it didn't even last two months, and I paid $30,000 to install this system. He shrugged his shoulders and told me it wasn't his problem. The next winter, the other one failed with the same problem. That one cost me over $2,000, with the same result in warranty. Chuck did not return my call for help with that.
The next year, the other one quit again with the same problem in a different location. That one cost me over $3,000 to get fixed. Chuck did not return my calls. Then, the compressor tank on the other unit failed. I finally got some progress with the company, and they sent me a compressor, but no one will install it. Chuck nor his associates will answer my messages, written or phone calls.
Today, the other one failed, and I still have two months of winter. No one from Trip Alaska Energy Associates will return my call. They installed it, took my money, and ran. I 100% would never use geothermal again, and I hope that I would never be tricked by someone like this company that they are selling something that is worth buying. They are exactly what you would expect out of an Alaskan no-customer-service company. Avoid them.
