Quality Driven Approach

At J. Taylor Paving, we recognize that a properly installed asphalt driveway requires more than just skilled labor; it necessitates the right tools and equipment. Many paving contractors arrive on-site with limited equipment, often relying solely on a Bobcat or skid steer for excavation and preparation. While this approach might suffice for minor repairs or simple gravel additions, it falls short when encountering substantial obstacles like large rocks or stumps.

J. Taylor Paving takes a more comprehensive approach. We utilize a full-sized backhoe to efficiently handle challenging excavation tasks, ensuring that any obstacles are removed effectively. Our two dozers, a larger model perfect for heavy-duty excavation and a smaller, maneuvering model ideal for smaller jobs and precise grading, allow us to adapt to diverse project requirements.

We also employ two vibratory rollers, a larger one for compacting heavier fills and a smaller one for asphalt paving and lighter applications. Additionally, we utilize small vibratory plate compactors for tasks near buildings or in confined spaces. This comprehensive equipment selection allows us to execute projects with precision and efficiency, guaranteeing a durable and long-lasting asphalt surface.
