Our story began with a dream and a drive to improve the lives of our customers. B.A. Garage Doors was founded in 1992 by Armando Benavides, who started his career working for a Septic Tank Company before transitioning to the garage door industry. After gaining experience and knowledge from his brother's garage door manufacturing company, Armando ventured out on his own to establish B.A. Garage Doors.
In the wake of Hurricane Andrew's destruction in 1992, we saw an opportunity to help rebuild Miami-Dade County by providing repair services and new garage door installations. This led to Armando becoming a Licensed Independent Garage Door Contractor and opening an office outside his home, with his wife Patricia Benavides, now Vice-President of the Company, by his side.
