Our History

Founded in 1991 by Douglas J. Compton, our company has grown significantly over the years, taking on iconic projects that have transformed the landscape of Lawrence, Kansas, and beyond. From greenfield site development to third-party projects, we have successfully completed nearly $500 million in construction projects, including residential and commercial developments, student housing, banks, restaurants, shopping centers, and city/community buildings. Our expertise extends to historical renovations, and we take pride in preserving the architectural heritage of downtown Lawrence.
