Founded in June 1982 by Charlie and Darlene Jones, both of whom had extensive experience in the plumbing industry. One of the early turning points for the company came when Charlie was approached by the management of a prominent tract homebuilder to take over several of their communities. With this opportunity, Chaparral was able to expand its operations and strengthen its presence in the new home construction market. Today, Chaparral has long-term contracts with numerous builders in Houston and its surrounding areas.
